We all know that Halloween is for the kids. But that doesn't mean we can't slip in a little nip does it? Boy do we have a drink for you. A Bourbon Milkshake to make your Hallows' Eve extra special. A milkshake is like the complete comfort food, are we right?
Bourbon Pumpkin Chocolate Milkshake
This recipe will yield 1 milkshake
INGREDIENTS FOR MILKSHAKE
3 scoops of high quality vanilla ice cream (I used Breyers)
⅓ cup chocolate syrup
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons bourbon (I used Maker’s Mark - it has a sweeter taste)
3 Tablespoon pumpkin puree (I used Libby’s)
¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Cinnamon to garnish
INGREDIENTS FOR COATED RIMMED GLASS
¼ cup white candy melts or white chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles
DIRECTIONS FOR COATED RIMMED GLASS
- Melt the candy in the microwave in 10 minute increments until melted and smooth, stirring after each increment.
- Dip the top of the glass into the melted mixture, thoroughly covering the rim.
- Sprinkle Halloween sprinkles all over the candy mixture on the rim, completely covering it.
DIRECTIONS FOR MILKSHAKE
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for 30-45 seconds until smooth and well combined.
- Pour into glass and garnish with cinnamon on top
