First off, we want to make sure we keep everyone plugged in through the appropriate channels so that communication gets right to you, regardless of which one you favor most. Just think of it as our way to "hedge the bet" and ensure that you are getting the most current information that FoodieGems puts out.
Why is that so important? Wow! You do ask a lot of questions! But that's ok, I like that in a Foodie! One thing you are going to learn very quickly about FoodieGems.com is that WE WANT TO HAVE FUN! We love a good laugh just like the next person. And much of what we do will definitely be centered around making our Foodies smile. Now, one way that we will be doing this is through contests! Yes, you read correctly: CONTESTS!
Our website will run different contests centered around food. Some of the upcoming FoodieGems.com contests we will be running include:
-FoodieFails! Send us a picture of your greatest FoodieFail showcasing your greatest achievement in the world of complete and total failure in food preparation! Each time we run the contest, we will have a different "category", whether it be cake-baking, Mexican Food, or Microwave Disasters!
-FoodieCaptions! We will send you some random pictures centered around food and we want to get your creative juices flowing! Whoever can come up with the most clever caption (and get the most votes from our Foodies) WINS!
-FoodiePranks! Send us your best video of a food prank involving an item/items and whoever gets the most votes WINS!
We have plans for many more contests, but these are just a few that we want to share with you to start stirring up the pot!
What kind of prizes are we talking about? Great question; I'm glad that you asked!
We will send you a $50 gift card/gift certificate to the FoodieGem restaurant our choice! The only criteria as to which restaurant you can receive a gift card for is that it has to be listed on our site. But you also play a part in that also! How?
