Were you up to the challenge?

For 6 days, the city of Austin had been in a frenzy over who will be crowned the 2013 Austin Food Truck Taste Off Champion. Participants paid up to $20 for a badge, which was good for 6 days, to get a taste of some of the great food Austin Food Trucks has to offer. Which truck won over your vote?

Here are some highlights from the weekend's taste off.

First up, Hey?...You Gonna Eat or What?

Are You Gonna Eat or What came right out of the gate strong, serving free samples all weekend long of their famous Shiner Bock Beer Battered Monte Cristos. Was it enough to stay in the race for the "Most Deserving Truck" award?

Next up, Taco Baby

Taco Baby didn't hold back any punches, trying to win over the hearts of every Texan, by offering free beer. Yes, you heard me right, they offered every badge holder a free beer and a free taco. Did that taco make you 'loco' for Taco Baby?

Way South Philly,

Way South Philly tried to knock the ball out of the park with their authentic Philly cheese steaks, piled high with grilled steak, sautéed onions and cheese whiz on an Amoroso's Roll. Was the Philly cheese steak enough to hit a home run?

FullHouse BBQ,

Full House BBQ threw down all the cards on the table, offering a free smokey-barbecue flavored rib on a first come first, serve basis. After all of the free rib samples were gone, a small slice of beef or a chopped beef sandwich was given out. Did the taste of Fullhouse BBQ make you wanna go all in with your vote?

Lard Have Mercy,

Well aware there wouldn't be any calorie counting this weekend, Lard Have Mercy offered every participant a free fried chicken bacon strip covered with bacon gravy. Did the added bacon have you singing praises in the street?

There was certainly no shortage of great food this weekend. There were many other types of food offered including Truffle Fries, Spicy Fries, Cornbread and Chili, Burgers, Tex Mex, BBQ, Pizza, Gyros, Macaroni and Cheese, Pulled Pork, Jamaican Jerk Slaw and so much more.

Wait! Did you save room for Desert?

There was Bread pudding, Cheesecake, Pumpkin Doughnut holes, Sundaes, Frozen Custard and Butter Coffee.

Each of the 65 trucks was willing to give away free food or a sharp discount in order to win over your vote and be crowned the "Most Deserving Truck of 2013" with the grand prize being $10,000.
